Compilation film based on reels shot by the brothers Lumiere and their staff. It contains street scenes and public events: cruise on the Seine, the lift of the Eiffel Tower, a visit of Czar Nicholas II to Paris in 1896. Those scenes are the earliest sights of Paris ever recorded on film
