Tim Entwisle, Director and CEO of the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne, introduces the history of the Gardens and Observatory buildings, discussing their initial development in the ‘Marvellous Melbourne’ of the gold rush, and their place in Melbourne’s social and intellectual life.
Tim also recounts the story of the infamous serial killings that took place in the Gardens in the 1920s.
