Inspired by his childhood hero, ‘Uncle Jack’, Ron Baguley enlisted in the Navy at the ripe age of 16. “Join the Navy and see the world they say!” In 1952, Ron was plucked from his job as a carpenter and thrown into a life at sea, serving initially in the Korean Conflict. Ron tracks his incredibly journey from a young recruit to a senior warrant officer.
