One of 12 minidocos about blokes and their sheds in South Australia.
Hossein is a well-known Iranian born artist who lives in suburban Adelaide. Hossein and his wife Angela, a ceramic artist, have created an idyllic studio space within the shed in their back garden. As their creativity has developed, changed form and grown, so to has the shed. The shed sits in their garden surrounded by the very source of materials that Hossein and Angela use for their projects. Using materials such as wooden branches, Japanese maple seeds, fern stems, rose petals and ginko leaves, they produce very intricate and delicate pieces that provoke thought. Based on the book by Mark Thomson.
