Sax Elthan is a hapless musician, a refugee from the inner city. Rejected by his girlfriend, he travels to the outback to look for work. One burning Wednesday he finds himself beside a highway, waiting for a lift, contemplating his future. It arrives in the shape of a beat-up Volkswagon with a wardrobe tied to the roof. A black comedy about one man’s destiny starring Geoff Morrell (Blue Heelers, Changi). Also features Tina Bursill.
