Maria tells us the story of migration, hard work, loneliness and sacrifice that was her experience of leaving her native land to move to the other side of the world. There were many hard times, and she still misses Italy ‘but now I call Australia home’. Created as part of the Racconti: La Voce del Popolo Digital Storytelling in association with The Italian Federation of Migrant Workers and their Families (FILEF).
