Judge Dredd for Commodore 64/128

Australia, 1986

Videogame

Judge Dredd [computer game]. Judge Dredd is a single player action platformer. Players move Dredd to locations of crime as they appear on the sector map and select the crime they wish to pass judgement on. Once a crime has been selected, Dredd is dropped into a side scrolling platformer where both perps and civilians roam. Each crime is given an appropriate response level of Halt, Warn and Kill, though it is up to player discretion to change the response level. Depending on the response level is the action Dredd can perform, either shouting halt, firing warning shots or firing real bullets. Dredd can select a type of bullet from normal, armour piercing, incendiary, ricochet, high explosive and heat seeking.
