ACMI & Electronic Arts are teaming up to throw an epic panel all about The Sims as part of The Sims 25th Birthday weekend at ACMI. From its humble beginnings to its massive cultural impact, iconic Woohoos, visits from the Social Bunny, chaotic kitchen fires, and a fandom that’s survived it all—this panel takes you on a journey through the legacy of The Sims.
Hosted by ACMI Curator, Jini Maxwell, the line-up includes powerhouse digital creators and avid The Sims fans Josh Jessup and Matt Moss of Josh & Matt Design, Mavis Chan, Product Director – The Sims™ FreePlay, Firemonkeys Studios and Professor Deb Polson from RMIT University. This is your chance to take part in a 30-minute Q&A with the panel and geek out over the impact of the game that’s defined generations.

It's the year 2000. You’re in your bestie's bedroom on your PC desktop, bedazzled flip phones on the side, sitting on bean bags playing The Sims. Visit our Pop-Up Y2K inspired bedroom, designed by Josh and Matt Design, and play The Sims and The Sims 2 at our retro gaming stations.
