Celebrate summer outside in the setting sun with a free selection of silent films accompanied by some not-so-silent bands.
Pull up a deckchair and join us in celebrating the early days of cinema with this free program of silent films paired with newly composed scores performed live on stage. Across three weeks we'll delve into some key works spanning surrealism, dadaism and experimental practice, get the feels circa 1918 via The Sentimental Bloke and celebrate the comedic genius of Buster Keaton.
Joining us live on stage will be ARIA Award-winning performer Paul Mac, jazz musicians Dung Nguyen and Peter Knight and rambunctious silent cinema enthusiasts Blue Grassy Knoll.
