Films
Favourites, Dir. Nick Russell, Australia 5 mins.
Stephen Curry and Sibylla Budd star in the hilarious story of two parents who face an impossible choice when their family camping trip turns deadly.

Not Dark Yet, Dir. Bonnie Moir, Australia, 9 mins.
Direced by Bonnie Moir (Stan's Exposure), Not Dark Yet (MIFF 2022, AACTA Short Film Nominee), follows an elderly man confined to his room in an aged care facility, struggling with debilitating disease and his son's abrupt depature.

Marungka Tjalatjunu (Dipped in Black), Dir. Derik Lynch & Matthew Thorne, Australia, 24 mins.
Marungka tjalatjunu (Dipped in Black) made history in 2023 when it became the first ever film to win the Silver Bear Jury Prize (Short Film) and the Teddy Award for best queer short film at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival. Despite being only 24 mins in duration, it was also the winner of the Documentary Australia Award at the Sydney Film Festival 2023 which included feature docs in competition.

Sweet Juices, Dir. Sejon Im & Will Suen, Australia, 15 mins.
Winner of the Fantasia Film Festival Short Film Competition Special Mention, Sweet Juices features two unhinged dumpling chefs on a race against time in this unforgettably gross satire on Sydney food culture.

Mouthbreather, Dir. Tiyan Baker, Australia 13 mins.
Commissioned by the Institue of Modern Art and Nowness Asia, in mouthbreather we witness the world from behind the artist's teeth as she walks across her Ancestral lands and mouths, breathes, calls forth and gives form to a buried language.
