An evolving Taiwan is captured in Su Yi-Hsuan's award-winning festival favourite.
In 1994, during post-martial law Taiwan, students found themselves amidst protests against the backdrop of societal change. Disenchanted with the culture of implicit obedience prevalent in schools, Chi-wei, a college student, joins the strike to advocate for freedom of expression. Amid the fervour of the protest, Chi-wei finds herself drawn to Ching. As the protest rages on, the chemistry between Chi-wei and Ching intensifies, reflecting not only a fight for freedom but also an inner journey of self-discovery and awakening for Chi-wei.
