Melbourne International Games Week (MIGW) is Australia's largest celebration of digital games featuring events for game enthusiasts, industry, educators, and the curious public.
Did you know that the videogames industry now makes more than both the film and music industries combined?
What is it that make videogames special? Is it the thrill of taking a win at the last second? Discovering a new world filled with fantastic characters and quests? Getting a small glimpse into the creator's mind?
This MIGW, we have got you covered – the Big Games Night In brings you the best of Victoria's newest games for you to play as a family. Featuring games by eight of the state's up-and-coming makers, it is a chance to have fun, compete and most of all play together.
Most of the games selected are bite-sized or demos, and take around 5–15 minutes to complete. Games are suitable for different ages, with labels highlighting which age group the game is suitable for.
