The 31st MQFF returns to ACMI's cinemas in 2021 for a showcase of the finest contemporary queer cinema from Australia and beyond.
The largest queer film festival in the Southern Hemisphere, the Melbourne Queer Film Festival (MQFF) challenges and entertains by delivering a curated festival of queer film content, and encourages discussion of LGBTIQ issues through panels and special events. MQFF promotes emerging filmmakers and access to screen storytelling through industry programs and community workshops.
