Learn how best to tell your stories for publication – in the media, online and on radio – and attract an audience, in these workshops led by industry experts.
Workshop 1: Tell your story
Our first workshop examines what makes your story interesting and how best to tell it – in interviews and in writing.
Through practical exercises, we’ll show you how to transform your work into interesting stories and shape them for public consumption.
Workshop 2: See your story
The second workshop covers how to “sell” your story and who to "sell" it to, and how to prepare for and deliver in interviews. The session will be practical and interactive, with mock interviews by volunteers so we can all rehearse and learn from each other.
By the end of the two workshops, you will feel confident to define your story, be clear about what you want to say and about how you say it. You will receive a helpful manual of templates to take away with you for future use.
Book both workshops for $35
