Late in life, Cass is drawn to his long-forsaken childhood home of Bundaberg, where he finds himself on a spiritual search for redemption.
Back in Bundaberg, Cass rediscovers not only his childhood home, but the memories and traumas he left behind. He opens his heart to a spiritual exploration amongst the community, eventually finding himself being born again by Baptist Christians, on a journey that culminates in experimental therapy from new age Buddhists.
