A brother’s life changes when he becomes the guardian of seven siblings.
Directed by Yandy Laurens (and based on a 1996 soap opera by Arswendo Atmowiloto), 1 Kakak 7 Ponakan stars Chicco Kurniawan as Moko, a young Architecture student whose life takes an unexpected turn when his older sister and her husband suddenly passes away. Moko finds himself the sole guardian for his nieces and nephews, caring for five children. Later, two more join the household, bringing the total to seven. Forced to put his dreams of becoming a successful architect on hold, Moko struggles to balance his career aspirations, love life and the immediate needs of his newfound family.
