The Handmaid's Tale: Season 6
Big Screen Premiere
When
Tue 8 Apr 2025
Join us in the cinema to celebrate the return of The Handmaid's Tale for an explosive final season.
Adapted from the classic novel by Margaret Atwood, The Handmaid’s Tale is the story of life in the dystopia of Gilead, a totalitarian society in what was formerly the United States of America.
In the series' final season, June (Elisabeth Moss) finds her unyielding spirit and determination draw her back into the fight to take down Gilead. Luke and Moira join the resistance. Serena (Yvonne Strahovski) tries to reform Gilead while Commander Lawrence and Aunt Lydia reckon with what they have wrought.
This final chapter of June’s journey highlights the importance of hope, courage, solidarity, and resilience in the pursuit of justice and freedom.
The Handmaid's Tale will be available to stream on SBS On Demand from Tuesday 8 April and will be broadcast on SBS from Wednesday 9 April with new episodes fast-tracked weekly.
