Step into a future where humans and technology merge, blurring boundaries and reshaping existence.
Moore’s Law envisioned an era of exponential tech advancement, and since early cyberpunk works like Neuromancer and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, creators have been captivated by visions of human-machine integration.
Join our panel as we explore iconic cyberpunk worlds – from classics like Blade Runner and Robocop to modern hits like Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Altered Carbon. You’ll even get a chance to create your own futuristic visions by sending prompts to our AI image generator, bringing fresh cyberpunk landscapes to life in real time.

Megan McKeough
Megan McKeough is a community radio presenter and pop culture enthusiast with a deep love of all things film, TV, gaming and the grey area where they intersect. Broadcasting on Triple R since 2015, she currently co-hosts Triple R’s fantasy, science fiction and historical show Zero G; and reviews films for Thursday morning Breakfasters. Talk to her about murder mysteries, the rise of Korean media in the west, and the lost era of 90s blockbusters.
Mel Campbell
Mel Campbell is a cultural critic on unceded Wurundjeri country who writes about film, TV, literature and media, with particular interests in history, costume, screen adaptations and futurism. She also lurks in the shadows of the ivory tower as a freelance academic copyeditor and indexer. When Mel was 12, she confidently predicted that by the time she was 25, she would own a self-driving hovercar and remote-controlled household appliances. However, she did not predict that her first book would be the nonfiction investigation Out of Shape: Debunking Myths about Fashion and Fit (2013), or that she would go on to co-write two romantic comedy novels with Anthony Morris: The Hot Guy (2017) and Nailed It! (2019). Mel can be found at many cyberspace locations as @incrediblemelk.
