A spectacular and epic sci-fi masterpiece writ large on a grand and awe-inspiring scale.
After the destruction of his royal family House Atrides on the desert planet Arakkis, Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) and his mother Lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson) are taken in by the nomadic desert tribe, the Fremen. Paul quickly rises in their ranks to lead them into battle against the conspirators who destroyed his family. His preordained rise as a messianic figure however finds him embroiled in conspiracy and political machinations with far-reaching consequences.
Denis Villeneuve achieves the impossible in creating a grand, rousing adventure out of Frank Herbert’s dense and elaborate sci-fi novels. A must on the big screen this breathtaking fantasy envelops you in its otherworldly splendour and intrigue.
The second Dune instalment is jaw-on-the-floor spectacular. It elegantly weaves together top-tier special effects and arresting cinematography; it layers muscle, sinew and savagery on to the bones of Part One.
