Join us each month to visit our exhibitions in a museum-wide relaxed environment.
Developed with guidance and advice from Arts Access Victoria, these relaxed visits will involve all exhibitions in the museum being switched to ‘low sensory’ mode between 10 and 11.30am.
Suited for visitors with ASD, sensory sensitivities or anyone who would benefit from a quieter and less busy setting, our relaxed visits give you a chance to explore ACMI in an environment that suits you.
Relaxed visits
- have adjusted sound and lighting in some exhibits to ensure less stimulation
- have reduced visitor numbers in the exhibitions
- have a dedicated quiet room.
