Terms and Conditions for Incentive Prize Draw – Longitudinal cinemas visitor research at ACMI
Promoter
The promoter of this prize draw is ACMI, the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ABN 37 375 237 227).
Eligibility
Entry is open to anyone over 16 who has completed the ACMI Cinemas Visitor Research Survey from 17 October 2024 to 30 June 2025.
Employees, immediate family members of employees, and employees of any company associated with ACMI are ineligible to enter. This includes supporting partners.
Only one entry per person.
Entry
The Promotion commences at 01:00AM AEDT 17/10/2024 and entries close at 11:59PM AEDT 30/06/2025 (Promotion Period).
To enter, Eligible Entrants must provide their email address and name at the end of the survey during the Promotion Period. The prize draw is being administered by ACMI via Prospect 2. Collection and use of this information is governed by this Privacy Collection Statement.
If the provided information (including name and email address) is not valid or if all or part of the information is not provided the entry will be considered invalid and will not be entered into the prize draw.
There is no entrance fee and no purchase required to enter this competition.
ACMI is not liable for any late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, or ineligible entries.
Winning and prize conditions
The total value of the prize draw is AUD$450. This includes 3 x $150 Visa e-gift card. The prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. In the event the prizes become unavailable due to circumstances beyond ACMI’s control, ACMI reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value as the original prize.
There will be three (3) winners. One winner will be randomly selected each quarter from all eligible entries received that quarter. Eligible dates of entry for each quarter are as follows:
- Quarter 2: 01/10/2024-31/12/2024
- Quarter 3: 01/01/2025-31/03/2024
- Quarter 4: 01/04/2024-30/06/2024
The prize draws will take place at ACMI on the following dates:
- Quarter 2: 12:00pm AEDT on 10/01/2025
- Quarter 3: 12:00pm AEDT on 10/04/2025
- Quarter 4: 12:00pm AEDT on 10/07/2025
The prize draw will be conducted by ACMI staff and will take place on the above dates. Winners will be notified by email within two (2) business days of the draw and prizes must be claimed within seven days after notification. Winners’ names will also be published on the ACMI website at the bottom of this page on the next business day following the above detailed draw date. Winner names will be posted for 28 days. ACMI will not be liable if it cannot contact any prize winner because of incorrect contact details provided to it by an entrant. ACMI reserves the right to disqualify entries at its sole, reasonable discretion. Decisions of ACMI regarding the winning of prizes are final and binding.
If there are any unclaimed or unwanted prizes within seven days, a subsequent prize draw will be conducted seven days later, at the same time and place as the original draw. Draws will be repeated as needed until a winner accepts the prize.
ACMI will retain records relating to the prize draw for a period of three (3) years after the finalisation of the draw.
Use of Personal Information
By entering the draw, each entrant is taken as giving consent to ACMI to collect and use the entrant’s personal information for the purpose of conducting the prize draw (including for the purpose of identifying, notifying, and announcing the winners of the prize). In addition to this, if the entrant has ticked a box to indicate that they would like to be added to ACMI’s mailing list or contacted for further research opportunities, ACMI may also use the personal information provided by the entrant for the purpose of sending information about ACMI’s products and services (including via electronic means). All personal information held will be handled in accordance with ACMI’s Privacy Policy.
