See your name on a seat in one of our cinemas and support your museum of screen culture.

Like you, we're dedicated to film and you have the chance to name or dedicate a seat with a personalised plaque in our world-class cinemas.

For a $2,000 donation, you can dedicate your seat or pledge it to a loved one – you can even honour your favourite director or line from a film with a short, customised message. 

You’ll be in good company with our other generous supporters, who have already settled in for the show. Because cinema is a shared experience, and we are so grateful we can share it with all our visitors.

Terms and conditions:

• Your donation of $2,000 per seat is tax deductible and will be in place for 10 years.
• Plaque dedication specifications: maximum text length is a total of 60 characters and can be set across three lines.
• Please note your seat dedication does not include admission to screenings or events or guarantee allocation of that seat when attending ACMI.

Cinema is more than movies. We enter the dark as strangers but emerge together, united by the stories we’ve seen on-screen. As Australia’s museum of screen culture, we know that what we see on screens changes how we see the world. 

We are so happy to be watching films how they're meant to be seen, whether that’s 35mm celluloid or razor-sharp 4K. But we don’t just project the moving image, we celebrate everything about the experience, from choc tops during trailers to the curtains closing on the final frame.  

At ACMI, we champion an enhanced cinema experience that promotes, preserves and presents the very best of screen culture.  With our state-of-the-art Christie RGB pure laser 4K projectors you can watch our films as the filmmakers intended for you to see them on the big screen, with extremely colourful, detailed and true-to-life 4K images.
