Porsche Cars Australia generously supported ACMI’s Goddess: Power, Glamour, Rebellion as Lead Exhibition Partner.
Through iconic stories, characters, and moments from over 120 years of moving image history, Goddess: Power, Glamour, Rebellion celebrated the women and gender-transcending superstars who shaped their own roles, took creative control, and fought a system that tried to exploit them.
As a company committed to celebrating the achievements of women and empowering them to reach their full potential, Porsche was a natural fit to support Goddess as Lead Exhibition Partner. As global leaders in our fields, ACMI and Porsche collaborated on a partnership that showcased our shared expertise in technology, design and innovation, and our joint purpose to provide exceptional experiences.
Partnering with ACMI on this major exhibition allowed Porsche to profile their women with drive initiative through editorial and social media content and events, engaging with ACMI’s audience through integrated marketing, and hosting clients and staff at exclusive events at ACMI with premium museum access.
As Lead Exhibition Partner, Porsche displayed their all-electric Taycan along the Opening Night red carpet creating a striking photo opportunity and talking point for guests, celebrities, and key opinion leaders. Mid-way through the exhibition Porsche also popped up in the ACMI foyer with an eye-catching Taycan which reflected the boldness and innovation of the exhibition itself. Visible from Flinders Street, the activation drew passers-by into the museum and visitors of all ages were spotted taking and sharing photos of the Taycan with friends and family.
Inspired by the themes of Goddess, ACMI curated a selection of contemporary and classic films that flip the gender bias, and hero those with a pioneering spirit. The Women Behind the Wheel film season presented by Porsche Cars Australia was available to rent on Cinema 3, ACMI’s on-demand streaming platform.
