Australian costume designer Orry-Kelly had an eye for designing exceptional garments that worked for non-traditional Hollywood figures. His talent was highlighted when creating the gender non-conforming costumes for characters Joe / Josephine (Tony Curtis) and Jerry / Daphne (Jack Lemmon).
