Chris Wright is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of multiple companies working in the video games space including independent games publishing label, Fellow Traveller, games marketing agency, Double Jump Communications, and games investment vehicle, The Treasure Hunters Fanclub.
Chris has over 20 years’ experience in the games industry, beginning his career in London for clients operating at the intersection of technology and youth culture followed by seven years at the Australian office of US video game giant, THQ.
In 2011, Chris co-founded his own company with a vision to create a new kind of games publisher, modelled on indie record labels and operating at a “human scale” with the independent development scene that had blossomed in the wake of the release of the iPhone.
One of the earliest indie games labels, Fellow Traveller, has a focus on exploring video games as a storytelling medium and works with small development teams from across the world. Despite its tiny size, games on the label regularly feature near the top of game of the year lists. Meanwhile, sister company, Double Jump Communications, has become the leading games marketing agency in Australia and works with many of the biggest names in video and tabletop games including Fortnite, Dungeons and Dragons and Final Fantasy.
