Find out how your students can use filmmaking to share stories of community and culture in home languages.

This event showcases two short films created by primary school students from Garrthalala Homelands School in East Arnhem Land and Kagami Elementary School in rural Japan.

After watching these films, you will hear from members of the Community Banashi project team, and find out how they worked with young people and their communities to support them to tell and create their cultural stories.

This event offers inspiring professional learning for primary, secondary and tertiary teachers, and for audiences interested in language, culture, and community stories within the Community Banashi project.
